  9. The drivers enclosed is this archive are designed to properly
  10. run with Microsoft Windows 3.1 and the ATI line of VGA cards.
  11.  
  12. Easy Installation
  13. -----------------
  14.  
  15. 1) Create a blank formatted floppy disk for extracting the Windows 3.1
  16.    drivers. This is easily done with the DOS format command. Please
  17.    refer to your DOS manual on how to use the FORMAT command.
  18.  
  19. 2) Run the INSTALL.BAT batch file specifying either drive A: or B:.
  20.  
  21.    Example:

  23.    INSTALL A:
  24.  
  25. 3) Read the README.TXT file located on the diskette you have created
  26.    with the INSTALL.BAT batch file. This contains the necessary information
  27.    on how to let Windows 3.1 use these drivers.

  29. Manual Installation

  32. 1) Run WIN31VGA.EXE with the following syntax:

  34.    To extract to drive A:
  35.    WIN31VGA /EA:
  36.  
  37.    To extract to drive B:
  38.    WIN31VGA /EB:
  39.  
  40.    *IMPORTANT*
  41.    Be sure to extract the drivers to a floppy. Attempting to install
  42.    the drivers any other way may not function or damage your current
  43.    Windows setup!

  45. 2) Read the README.TXT file located on the diskette you have created
  46.    This contains the necessary information on how to let Windows 3.1
  47.    use these drivers.
